Worst thing I've seen in a pileup: In a preseason game my rookie year, I was assigned to block Steve Tasker, the old special teams great, on a kickoff return, and I went and knocked him 5 yards in the air. I just crushed him. He never saw me coming. He got up, and he didn't care about where the ball was going. I went to block someone else and (Tasker) came and leveled me. And underneath that pile he grabbed where you don't want to be grabbed.

Most memorable slobberknocker: My favorite still is one on Barry Sanders. I believe it was in the playoffs in '97. It wasn't my best hit, but it's just the fact that no one hit Barry Sanders like that. Afterward, he told me that was the hardest he'd ever been hit.

Weekly dining tradition: My wife usually makes me some tuna and crackers on Saturdays. I don't know how that became our tradition, but it has. I get some canned tuna and crackers, go to work, watch some college football. This has been going on six, seven years now.

My day off: I've got a young son who wants to play football, and he doesn't just want to play catch--he wants to play tackle football. It's not what you want to do on your off-day, but it's your son and when he gives you that look, it's like, "All right. Let's go."

Worst tide: Nick Ferguson's (1996 Chevy Tahoe). We call it the 1974 Chevy Tahoe. It's got the roll-down windows and the whole deal.
