Rashad McCants SG, North Carolina

Sporting News, The,  Dec 6, 2004

The Tar Heels made a joke of the Maul Invitational bracket, beating BYU, Tennessee and Iowa by an average of 21 points. McCants averaged 20.7 points, made nine 3-pointers and shot 59.0 percent from the field. Still, McCants did not get the Maul MVP award; that went to team-mate Raymond Felton. So Felton gets to be king of the islands; this week, McCants is king of the world.
