Matchup heaven & hell
Sporting News, The, Dec 20, 2004 by Brendan Roberts
Favorable and unfavorable matchups for Week 15:
HEAVEN
Jaguars QB Byron Leftwich vs. Packers. The Packers are among the worst in the league at stopping the pass. Bucs RB Michael Pittman vs. Saints. Pittman is one of the league's best receiving backs, and the Saints' defense is awful.
Broncos WR Rod Smith vs. Chiefs. He has averaged 93.2 receiving yards his past five games against the Chiefs.
HELL
Patriots QB Tom Brady vs. Dolphins, His big right arm won't be needed to beat the flailing Fish.
Giants RB Tiki Barber vs. Steelers. The Steelers don't need to respect the Giants' passing game, so Barber will get stuffed.
Seahawks WR Darrell Jackson vs. Jets. Seattle's passing game, especially the deep ball, will be stifled on what could be a cold day in Jersey.
