Scouts view: a western conference advance scout on Nuggets center Marcus Camby

He's been with that organization for four seasons now, and he seems to be a lot more comfortable. He's never going to be a back-to-the-basket kind of scorer--this is a guy who's been guarded by the likes of Mike Dunleavy--but the Nuggets seem more confident now letting him take that jumper from the top of the key.

It's awkward-looking but fairly effective, and anything he can do on offense helps his confidence. He's certainly been the Nuggets' anchor this season. He provides such a presence inside defensively, dominating the boards and blocking shots. He's kind of been overlooked--though the only thing that has limited him in the past has been injuries--and I think he's trying to make a point. He might not admit that, but his numbers are showing it.
