Joe Barry Carroll of the Warriors scored 43 points and grabbed 24 rebounds leading Golden State to a 150-147, four-overtime victory over the Nets. In the closing seconds, the Warriors' Chris Mullin missed a free throw, setting up a desperation, haft-court shot by the Nets' Leon Wood. The would-be miracle bounced off the rim. Golden State guard Sleepy Floyd had 29 points and 13 assists, and bed a record by playing 64 minutes.
