Dudley took advantage of the size mismatch afforded by Villanova's three-guard attack to generate a career-best 36 points, including two free throws with 5.5 seconds left that secured a 1-point win. Dudley also gathered six rebounds, four assists and three steals against the Wildcats. Then, in a road win against St. John's, he had 19 points and eight rebounds, helping keep the Eagles perfect.
