James shouldn't be allowed to run
Sporting News, The, Feb 11, 2005
The prevailing attitude outside the Colts' organization is that the team should allow RB Edgerrin James to leave as a free agent and use that money to upgrade the defense. Though the Colts need some defensive playmakers, they shouldn't listen to such talk. Replacing James' all-around game wouldn't be easy, and losing him certainly would weaken the organization's greatest strength.
The Colts' offense should be allowed to stay together for at least one more push.
