Dennis Green and the offensive coaches should not leave Cardinals WR Anquan Boldin at split end. Boldin played in the slot much of his rookie year in 2003 and was sensational. He faced more single coverage inside, which allowed him to better use his running ability after receptions. Larry Fitzgerald played the slot position last year and wasn't nearly as adept at getting open from that spot.

Boldin is a better route runner than Fitzgerald, and Fitzgerald excels at using his size and strength to his advantage along the sidelines.
