Florida East Coast Railway - Brief Article

Florida East Coast Railway has initiated direct rail service to Tropicana Products, Inc. in Ft. Pierce, Fla., reducing shipping times for Tropicana chilled juice products destined for Northeast markets. FEC transports specially-designed refrigerated boxcars received from Tropicana at Ft. Pierce to Jacksonville, Fla., Mondays through Saturdays for connection with CSX Transportation.
The juice products are delivered within 48 hours to Tropicana's Northeast distribution facility in Jersey City, N.J. The new service followed Tropicana's expansion of its Fort Pierce processing and packaging plant.
