Updated railroad fact book

The 2004 edition of Railroad Facts is now available from the Association of American Railroads. This 80-page, pocket-sized reference focuses primarily on Class I's and contains graphs and statistics on finance, traffic, operations, plant and equipment, employment and compensation, fuel consumption and cost, and loss and damage for 2003 and selected prior years.

It also offers profiles of the North American Class I's, Amtrak, and the two largest Mexican railroads. Copies are $5 each for AAR members. For non-AAR members, the cost is $15 each (for two to 10 copies, $12 each; for more than 10 copies, $10 each). Website: www.aar.org.
