SYSTRA CONSULTING, INC., has been formed from a merger of LS Transit Systems, Inc. (LSTS) and Rail Transportation Systems, Inc. (RTS). SYSTRA Consulting is an affiliate of Groupe SYSTRA, an international transportation consulting firm; LSTS and RTS are wholly-owned subsidiaries of SYSTRA USA, Inc.
Company headquarters are located in Bloomfield, N.J. Albrecht P. Engel, P.E., president and CEO of LSTS, is president and CEO. Robert Totillo, president and CEO of RTS, is executive vice president, based in New York. The combined operation, part of an international group of 1,200 people, "will offer a larger pool of resources to our clients than when we were operated separately," says Engel.
