Wayne Products, Inc., offers the MAXI-Skimmer[TM] Model VSSP/4 belt skimmer for lifting floating oil at variable rates. It is designed for use in industrial/commercial wastewater and water treatment facilities, and can skim up to 20 gallons per hour up to 50 feet below the unit. The stainless steel frame and top are corrosion-resistant, the body of the drive pulleys is glass-filled nylon, and the scraper blade and frame ends are bearing-grade UHMW polymer. The VSSP/4 comes with a timer for automatic control, a ground fault interrupter for electrical protection, a three-foot outlet extension hose, and an adjustable stand for discharging collected oil drums is optional.
