Railway Age, June, 2008
On March 18, a $14,500 scholarship to the Michigan State University Certificate Course in Railway Management was presented to Railway Age's Railroader of the Year Stephen C. Tobias, Norfolk Southern vice chairman and chief operations officer (RA, April, p. 12). The program, established by FCM Rail Chairman Dennis Gilstad, will bestow the scholarship to the Railroader of the Year's company.
The amount was incorrectly stated as $1,000.
