TRANSCORE - acquires Amtech Systems - Brief Article

TRANSCORE has acquired Dallas-based Amtech Systems, a division of Intermec Technologies Corp., a UNOVA, Inc., company, As part of the agreement, UNOVA will retain a "minority equity position and a close research and development relationship." TransCore will be the exclusive reseller of Intermecs Intellitag[R] radio frequency identification technology.
The combined cornpanies will operate as TransCore. Transaction value was not disclosed.
