City of Atlanta - contract - Bombardier Transportation - Brief Article

Awarded a $34 million contract to Bombardier Transportation for 24 CX-100 automated people-mover vehicles and associated equipment for Hartsfield Atlanta International Airport. Bombardier will produce the order at its Pittsburgh, Pa., facility. Opened in 1980, the Hartsfield people-mover system has been expanded six times and now operates 49 vehicles serving 14 stations.
