Dick Davidson began his duties as chief operating officer of Union Pacific Corp. on Nov. 1 and moved to corporate headquarters in Bethlehem, Pa., to assume his new duties.
Davidson was named president of the corporation in May 1994. Now 54, he began his railroad career as a brakeman with Missouri Pacific in 1960. He was named chairman of Union Pacific Railroad in 1991.
