Norwegian State Railways - contracted for 11 double diesel trainsets from Bombardier Transportation for $40 mil - Brief Article

Ordered 11 trainsets of two Talent diesel multiple-unit cars each from Bombardier Transportation at a cost of $40 million. Each trainset has 210-passenger capacity and will for the first time combine Bombardier's tilting and lowfloor technologies. The trainsets will be built at Aachen, Germany, for deliveries beginning at the end of 1999.
