RAILS COMPANY, a supplier of m/w equipment worldwide, has reached an agreement with Charter Power Systems, Plymouth Meeting, Pa., to market Charter's C&D Power-Com Liberty Series 1000 [R] and Liberty Series 2000 [R] valve-regulated (sealed) lead-acid batteries to the railway industry. C&D PowerCom is one of the oldest and largest manufacturers of lead-acid batteries in the U.S..

and supplies standby power systems for the telecommunications, uninterruptible power supply, and utility switchgear and control markets, including railway signaling and grade crossing systems.
