RSS/RailServe - new company resulting from merger of RailServe and Rail Switching Services; in-plant switching services - Brief Article

RSS/RAILSERVE is the name of a new company formed through merger of Rail Switching Services (RSS) of Panama City, Fla., and RailServe of Atlanta, Ga. The merger came after RailServe owner Trackmobile purchased RSS. RailServe has provided in-plant switching services for customers in the chemical, pulp and paper, and automotive industries.

RSS has done similar work for such customers as DuPont, Eastman Chemical, and International Paper. The combined companies will employ more than 325 people at 33 locations.
