Canadian refinery switches from water to rail - Ultramar Canada Inc. to move products on Canadian National Ultratrain - Brief Article

Ultramar Canada, Inc., which relies almost entirely on maritime carriers to ship its refinery products from Saint-Romuald, near Quebec City, to Montreal East, will next year be moving these products in Ultratrain, a Canadian National unit train of 64 tank cars. CN said Ultratrain will permit Ultramar to extend its reach into new inland markets, including the northeastern U.S.
