Railway Age, June, 1992 by William D. Middleton

A second phase of the Central Light Rail Line project now under design is expected to extend service another 3.5 miles north to Hunt Valley, and to Penn Station, by the last half of 1994, and to BWI Airport by 1995. Within two to three years of opening of the full 29-mile line, MTA expects its light rail trains to be transporting more than 33,000 daily riders.
