You can turn almost any hollow- or solid-core door into a handy work surface or extra table with STRUTS the New Sawhorse. The leg system can slip around and clamp onto standard 1 3/8-inch-thick doors ranging from 22 to 36 inches wide. When the legs splay outward, they firmly capture the door's edges between a pair of metal brackets and a tubular crosspiece. They hold the door at desk height.
Designed by San Francisco architect Andy Skurman. $59.95 per pair. (888) 544-2639 or www.struts.biz.
