Cowboy winter in Jackson Hole - Cowboy Ski Challenge - Brief Article

Sunset, Feb, 2001 by Candy Moulton

* Skijoring, where skiers are pulled by horses through an obstacle course, is the main event at the Cowboy Ski Challenge, at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort. The snow will have barely settled when chariot racers arrive in town for the Jackson Hole Shrine Invitational Cutter Races, at the Melody Ranch.

The horse-drawn vehicles careen down a 1/4-mile-long track in an event guaranteed to get the adrenaline going.
