The 252-room Argonaut Hotel is set to open this month. The rooms (from $149) have a nautical flavor, with good reason. The Kimpton Boutique Hotel is in the remodeled, historic Haslett Warehouse, part of the San Francisco Maritime National Historical Park. In the hotel lobby is the park's new visitor center (9:30-7; free), so you can get oriented to its attractions--from the ships at the Hyde Street Pier to the Maritime Museum.
