March goes out like gangbusters during an event-filled weekend here. On March 29, the annual Janss Pro Am Classic teams amateur athletes with Olympic and World Cup racers on a giant slalom course to raise money for the Sun Valley Ski Education Foundation. On March 30, the SolFest Big Air Exhibition features top freestyle skiers and snowboarders and a post-party at the base lodge.
