Major leaguers were still on strike as we went to press, but the Colorado Rockies management vows to field a team even if it means using replacement players. The regular season opener on April 7 pits the Rockies against the Philadelphia Phillies in a three-game stand through the weekend (each game starts at 1:05).

Most seats go for $10 to $16; prices top out at $26 for the best lower seats. Bargain hunters can try for the $1 and $4 seats in the Rockpile center field bleachers, available only at the stadium 2 1/2 hours before game time.
