At the Philadelphia Museum of Art, Michael R. Taylor, acting curator of modern and contemporary art at the museum since November 2003, has been named the new curator of modern art. David L. Barquist, formerly acting curator of American decorative arts at Yale University Art Gallery, is the new curator of American decorative arts.
