> The J. Paul Getty Trust has chosen James N. Wood as its new president and chief executive. Wood was director of the Art Institute of Chicago for 25 years, before retiring two years ago. He is the first Trust leader with an extensive background in art history and museum administration. Wood replaces Barry Munitz, who resigned in February 2006, in the midst of an ongoing antiquities scandal and a California state investigation into Getty finances.
