Amsterdam's Stedelijk Museum recently closed its doors for an extensive renovation and expansion project. The museum has embarked on an approximately $104.9-million fundraising campaign to pay for repairs to its 1895 building and the construction of a new wing, which it hopes to inaugurate in 2007.
Meanwhile, the institution has relocated to a former post office on Oosterdok Island, occupying three floors of the 11-story building.
