Institute for Advanced Study in Princeton

Yve-Alain Bois, currently professor of modern art at Harvard University, has been appointed a professor in the School of Historical Studies at the Institute for Advanced Study in Princeton. He fills the position previously held by Kirk Varnedoe, who died in 2003. Bois will assume his new post in July.
