March 7-May 17: Aperture presents two exhibitions, featuring two very different approaches to photography: "Ten Series," photographs by Matthew Sleeth, offers a view of the contemporary world structured around details of everyday life. Working in series, topics include: tagged trees, potted plants, fire extinguishers, and abandoned umbrellas. "In Almost Every Picture" is an idiosyncratic collection of found images from three volumes of the cult classic book series collected and edited by Erik Kessels, including "The Spanish Woman," featuring photographs taken by a husband of his wife during the years 1956-1968. Talk and Book Signing with Erik Kessels: Tuesday, May 13, 6:30.
