The Rhode Island School of Design has announced that the firm FleetBoston Financial recently donated to the school a portion of its Westminster Street facility in Providence, including a historic banking hall, the second floor and part of the basement. The space will become the new home of the RISD Library, which contains some 100,000 volumes and an archive of film, video and over 500,000 photographic images.
