Galleries museums & artists 2003 guide - Alabama-Arkansas - Directory

Art in America, August, 2003

The Guide is a comprehensive alphabetical listing, arranged by state and city, of US museums, galleries, university galleries, nonprofit exhibition spaces, corporate consultants, private dealers and print dealers.

Included are addresses, phone numbers, business hours, names of directors and a short description of the type of art shown.

Institutions are categorized by the following designations: G (gallery), M (museum), U (university gallery), N (nonprofit exhibition space), C (corporate consultant), D (private dealer), P (print dealer). Artists exhibited at each location are listed; artists with upcoming one-person exhibitions are grouped together at the end of the listing. Each institution is assigned a key number, used for cross-referencing in all indexes.
