Marc Mayer, director of the Power Plant Art Gallery in Toronto since 1998, is the new deputy director of the Brooklyn Museum of Art. Kevin Stayton, senior curator of decorative arts at the museum, has been promoted to chief curator and vice director of curatorial affairs.
