ACA welcomes new national staff

Harriet Gamble

Harriet joined ACA in the permanent leadership position of editor-in-chief, periodicals, effective December 11, 2002. She will serve as editor of Camping Magazine, CampLine, and the e-newsletter and looks forward to lending her expertise in the development of other publications for ACA. She had worked as interim editor of Camping Magazine in a consulting capacity for the last year. Harriet brings thirty years of writing and editorial experience to ACA. She has worked in both advertising and editorial for several magazines and has most recently been an independent free-lance writer and editor. The author of more than 150 published articles in the fields of education, art, and art education, Harriet has also worked with numerous nonprofit organizations, universities, and corporations providing newsletters, Web copy, corporate identities, brochure copy, and more. Harriet holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Ohio State University

Brian Taylor

Brian Taylor recently joined ACA as the facility technician. He is responsible for maintaining the buildings, grounds, and supplies, as well as packing inventory for off-site conferences. He is also employed by Indiana University/Bradford Woods, as the weekend host of the camping and retreats center. Brian lives on Bradford Woods property with his wife, Julie, and their two daughters, Jade and Kaylee.
