Camps Receive PR Materials - Brief Article

Camping Magazine, May, 2001

Camps should have received a copy of the Camp in the News video and a key message brochure. The brochure folds out into a handy chart for camp directors to refer to when discussing the benefits of camp with the media and includes tips and ideas for telling the camp story.

Celebrate Camp Community Day

Camps should also have received a Congressional Visit Tool Kit. The tool kit will assist directors in planning Camp Community Day at their camp. The week of July 16 has been designated to celebrate camp. You can use the ideas in the tool kit to invite your congressional representatives to visit your camp to emphasize the close ties between camp and community.
