Kerr Active in AYF

Dorothy Jean Kerr, of St. Louis, Missouri, passed away in April at the age of seventy-eight. "Dorty" had been the director of the American Youth Foundation's Camp Miniwanca, in Shelby, Michigan, and retired from AYF in 1981. She was very active in the ACA St. Louis Section and was a member of the Acorn Society and the Pioneers in Camping Club.

Olsen Was President of Spring Hill Initiatives

Mark Olsen, of Evart, Michigan, passed away in May at the age of forty-two. He was president of Spring Hill Initiatives, which operates camps in Evart, Michigan, and Seymour, Indiana.

Schrader Founded Camp Nicolet

Wendell Schrader, co-founder of Camp Nicolet for Girls in Eagle River, Wisconsin, passed away in May. He and his wife, Ann, directed Camp Nicolet for more than thirty-five years before turning over the direction to their daughter, Georgi Starz. A memorial service was held at the camp in June.
