Andy Weiss -- ACA Business Member

Andy Weiss, American Camping Association (ACA) Business Member and president of Westex, passed away earlier this year. He was actively involved with the camp industry for over thirty years. His father Doug started Westex in 1946 and was considered an innovator and pioneer of exhibitor representation to the ACA. Weiss served as the business representative on the Board of the ACA New York Section. He was also on the Board of Surprise Lake Camp and, at the time of his death, he was the exhibitor representative on the Steering Committee of the Tri-State Camping Conference, a position he held for many years. In 2003, Andy was honored, posthumously, with the annual New York Section Award.
