The well-being of minority children

Camping Magazine, Sept-Oct, 2003

KIDS Count's "Latino Children and African American Children Pocket Guides" provide important statistics regarding the economic, educational, and social wellbeing of minority children throughout the U.S. based on the 2000 Census. The guides present the gaps that persist in U.S. society between minority children and non-Hispanic white children. The booklets contain a national overview, state-by-state data, and state rankings.
