Track Direct Mail Responses - Brief Article

Camping Magazine, Nov, 2000

You should be able to figure out the source of 99 percent of the responses to your direct-mail or camper recruitment campaign, marketing experts say. Include a code or symbol on the return envelope, reply card, or application so you can determine where and how the prospective camper heard about your program.

Tally these responses and use the figures to determine the best places to send future mailings.
