USA Today (Society for the Advancement of Education), Nov, 2002
Any parent who has bought his or her offspring the video version of a Disney animated feature is doomed to hear the same musical numbers over and over as the kid plays the tape obsessively and repetitively. Now, Tiger Electronics, Vernon Hills, Ill., offers the opportunity to reroute youngsters into their rooms and let them listen to those songs on the KidClips Disney Tunes Basic Player ($9.99), shaped tike a retro-styled radio, or the Deluxe Player ($14.99), built like an old-fashioned jukebox.
The key is KidClips Musical Chips ($14.99 apiece), each with three one-minute micro-mix samplers of songs from "The Little Mermaid," "Beauty and the Beast," or "The Lion King," among others, that snap into the player. With any luck, the tunes will keep the kids enthralled while sparing Mom and Dad another chorus of "Under the Sea," "Be Our Guest," or "Hakuna Matata."
