All dolled up - What's New? Holiday Gifts Galore - Magic Attic Club - Brief Article
USA Today (Society for the Advancement of Education), Nov, 2003
Alison; Heather, Keisha, Megan, and Rosa all belong to the Magic Attic Club, the newest doll collection for young girls. These five ethnically diverse best friends find a key to an attic where they discover a wardrobe full of fabulous costumes, and then play dress-up for hours.
The blonde-haired, blue-eyed Alison loves sports and is mildly dyslexic. Keisha, an African--American, enjoys photography. Megan, the strawberry blonde, has divorced parents. Rosa, who's Hispanic, is an excellent cook. This quintet of distinct dolls from Marian, LLC, Lake Forest, Calif., are $74 each.
Extra outfits--Princess for a Day, Party Perfect, Flower Girl Fun, Star of the Ice, Cheerleader Chic, School Cool, Slumber Party, and Cozy Nights--run $29 apiece. They'll get plenty of wear, though, since the girls are all the same size--18" tall.
