Eager to play a mind-challenging game? Then, ThinkFun, Alexandria, Va., has just the game for you: River Crossing--The Perilous Plank Puzzle ($14.99). The object of this innovative brainteaser is to help a hiker cross the river by strategically moving planks between tree stumps. Forty gameboard cards alter the starting location of the stumps and planks, therefore varying the levels of difficulty of this one-player game. All pieces are magnetic and the game comes with a travel bag, making it perfect for car rides, vacations, etc.
If family games are more your speed, then Oodles of Doodles--The Think-and-Draw-Fast Game! ($19.99) should provide hours of fun. Players sketch out eight items that fit within a specific category as teammates try to guess the objects. White board, marker, and eraser are included.
These exciting games are available at specialty toy stores, online at www.binaryarts.com, or by calling 800-468-1864.
