Radica rates - What's New? Holiday Gifts Galore - two video games from Radica USa - Brief Article
USA Today (Society for the Advancement of Education), Nov, 2003
Radica USA, Dallas, Tex., always has something really cool in its holiday lineup. Our vote this year is for the Play TV Rescue Heroes ($49.99), a homage to those "cool guys who are good guys." Kids can pretend to be their favorite hero and save the day in this entertaining and developmental game that plays out on the TV. On-screen, kids perform various missions of heroism, such as capturing escaped zoo animals; saving baby whales; and putting out fires. All activities increase in difficulty, as the toy grows with a child's abilities.
For portable fun, Radica has Ultimate Pinball ($14.99), with fully animated games, ramps, multi-ball play, pulsating lights, and sound effects. This handheld game comes with three different backgrounds--Space mayhem, Las Vegas Island, and Carnival fun--that actually change the game play.
