Topic: RSS FeedAn elegant solution for a music & video library
USA Today (Society for the Advancement of Education), July, 2004
Home media centers are a modern-day wonder, allowing us to cocoon amidst our favorite movies, music, and other forms of electronic entertainment. However, we tend to be an acquisitive breed, and sooner or later we find that our living rooms, dens, or wherever else we look and listen are overflowing with DVDs, videotapes, CDs, etc.
However, we found the perfect organizer--the oak-constructed, louver-doored Shuttered Media Storage Cabinet ($295.95, available online at www.signals.com or by calling 800-669-9696). Cleverly designed so as to contain not only room for adjustable shelves (since the various media are of different heights), but similar space within the twin swing-out doors, effectively doubling the area. Thus, inside a cabinet measuring 42" high, 23" wide, and 13" deep, there is room for 612 CDs, 298 DVDs, or 172 tapes--or any combination thereof. With their spines facing outward, it becomes a snap to find the title you seek, even more so should you choose to organize your media by title, category, or performer as you store them.
