A fun twist on "High School Musical 2"

USA Today (Society for the Advancement of Education), Jan, 2008

In 1966, Milton Bradley came up with a novel idea for a new game: Instead of using tokens on a game board, why not use the players' bodies as pieces and have them bend and stretch in challenging positions? They weren't sure the game was going to fly with the American public, until the nation caught sight of Johnny Carson and Eva Gabor engaged in a rollicking round on the "Tonight Show." The rest, as they say, is history.

In striving to keep the game fresh for more than 40 years, Twister has undergone a few facelifts. The Twister Moves version combines the original concept with dancing and music. Players use a color-coded dance mat and follow the instructions of a virtual DJ. The latest installment includes four songs and dance tracks from Disney's wildly popular "High School Musical 2." With two dance mats, kids can play alone or with a friend as they try to copy the dance moves called out by DJ Ray and Diamond J. In addition to "What Time Is It?," "Work This Out," "All for One," and "I Don't Dance" from the HSM2 soundtrack, the game includes original Twister Moves music on two CDs.
