Danish delights: the charms of Copenhagen

USA Today (Society for the Advancement of Education), Jan, 1995 by Sheila Rothenberg, Robert S. Rothenberg

Our outside cabin was comfortable by any ship's standards, not at all cramped with its two single beds, bathroom with stall shower, table/desk, and refrigerator/bar. Strolling the deck after dinner, enjoying the sea breezes, made for a relaxing end to the day, but the best was yet to come--the breathtaking view the following morning as we sailed up the Oslo fjord, snow-capped mountains forming a spectacular background, the rising sun reflecting off their glistening faces.

It is special touches by companies like SAS, Avis, and Scandinavian Seaways that make traveling a pleasant adventure, rather than a chore of getting from here to there.
