Yet even the worst laws often have a silver lining: Like a carefully performed biopsy, they reveal something about our society that we couldn't see before. What the Akaka bill shows, unfortunately, is how far down the "diversity" road we've traveled, and how easy it is for radical activists--alleging spurious grievances--to advance an ill-conceived agenda.
