Rather delightful

National Review,  Nov 8, 2004  by Elizabeth Hrusch,  John Ducker

I must say I have never been so entertained as when Jonah Goldberg referred to Dan Rather's unraveling as "God's Own Pinata" ("Oh Happy Day!" Oct. 11). Indeed, the "sweet, sweet goodness" that flowed from this story simply made my day! Please continue the excellent work as you seek to expose those who use the power of the media to further their own agendas through lies and distortion.

Let's hope that the fall of Dan Rather will herald a new era in journalistic integrity, his shoes filled by someone with a fresh, new voice--someone who will (dare I say?) report the news.

After reading Jonah Goldberg's delicious article on Dan Rather I wondered, What does his writing remind me of? Afine wine? Asmoky brandy? Finally I settled on a large and frosty milkshake. Fun, frivolous, naughty--and you always want more.
