> This fall, fashion embraces lushly textured and lavishly cabled sweaters. Some seem inspired by fishermen's knits, while others are the fantastic exaggerations of a woolly lamb's coat. So, thanks to Rei Kawakubo of Comme des Garcons' intricately twisted black sheep of a collection, Helmut Lang's futuristic creations, Nicolas Ghesquiere's wild patchwork for Balenciaga and the other stars of the season shown here, you don't have to take up knitting to stay warm this winter.
